Ideal for lentils and vegetables served with idli, dosa or rice.

Ingredients
Coriander, Chilli Red, Cumin, Turmeric, Lentil (Pigeon peas), Salt White, Fenugreek Seeds, Mustard seeds, Lentil (Bengal gram), Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Curry Leaves, Cloves, Dried Fenugreek Leaves, Nutmeg, Cardamom Amomum, Asafoetida, Mace

Directions for Use
Wash & dress 500 g vegetables like eggplant, drumsticks, marrow, potatoes, peas, cauliflower etc.
Boil 200 g Toor dhal in 800 ml water for 40 minutes. Retain water.
Soak 50 g tamarind in 100 ml warm water for 30 minutes & extract pulp.
Sieve & transfer into boiled dhal.
Separately fry 100 g coarsely chopped red onions and 100 g chopped tomatoes.
Add the vegetables, 20 g Sambhar Masala, salt & stir fry for 5 minutes.
Transfer boiled dhal along with water & simmer for 20 minutes.
Storage: Keep in cool and dry place.

Zubereitung
500 g Gemüse (Auberginen, Drumsticks, Kürbis, Kartoffeln, Erbsen, Blumenkohl) waschen & vorbereiten.
200 g Toor Dhal in 800 ml Wasser 40 Minuten kochen. Wasser aufbewahren.
50 g Tamarinde in 100 ml warmem Wasser 30 Minuten einweichen, auspressen & durch Sieb zum Dhal geben.
Separat 100 g gehackte rote Zwiebeln und 100 g gehackte Tomaten anbraten.
Gemüse, 20 g Sambhar Masala und Salz zugeben & 5 Minuten rühren.
Gekochtes Dhal mit Wasser zugeben & 20 Minuten köcheln lassen.
Lagerung: Kühl und trocken lagern.
